Kind Words...

"Since its inception in 2000, Keith Ranney has brilliantly coordinated the 300+ volunteers that insure each year's Maui Film Festival at Wailea runs smoothly from start to finish. Keith is a master of organization, clear communications and diplomacy. And, better yet, does it with a 'glass is always half full' attitude that sets the tone for those lucky enough to work with him." -- Barry Rivers, Co-Director, Maui Film Festival

"Wow, what an impressive prep presentation. Totally pre-organized with downloadable maps! Beautiful. We received your email, printed the map and instructions and will be there as requested at 4:00 pm. Thanks for the great job you have done." -- Volunteer for Deepak Chopra, 1/23/08, Hawaii Civic Center, Honolulu, Hawai'i.

"Wow! I am absolutely impressed at your level of organization. You have taken this to an artistic level." -- Volunteer for Deepak Chopra, 1/23/08, Hawaii Civic Center, Honolulu, Hawai'i.

"When Keith Ranney told me he could provide the quality and quantity of volunteers needed to pull BarryFest off I was thrilled. But I had no idea just how amazing each of you would be and how much help you would provide. All I can say is WOW! Mana’o Radio and the BarryFest Chairs would like to personally thank Keith Ranney and each and every one of YOU for your amazing contributions and efforts in making BarryFest 08 one truly inspiring and awesome festival. This event would not have come off as it did if it weren't for each of your personal efforts, hard work and dedication!" -- Mary Dungans, Planning Committee Chair, BarryFest08

"As a volunteer it was great fun, good music and food. It is an honor to be part of your 'Volunteer Cadre.' I have never had a bad time, nor had more fun volunteering than when I am with your great group. THANK YOU for the opportunity to serve!!!" -- Volunteer for Manao Radio's BarryFest08, 3/2/08

"Hi Keith - [] I find only praise of what must have been monumental efforts to organize such an apparently seamless presentation.  I'm definitely impressed.  You and Maggie are a great team, positive and light, and professional.  A well-oiled machine from all appearances.  There were plenty of volunteers, a great spirit of comraderie and a sense of common purpose.  Communication pre-event was superb, I knew exactly where I was supposed to be and when. Having the meetings in advance definitely contributed to a feeling of preparedness.  I loved the power point slide show [].  And the emails where we could all see who else would be working at the same time facilitated carpooling." -- Susan B., Volunteer for the April '07 Maui visit by His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama

"I would [] like to complement the volunteers at the War Memorial on Wed. I took a friend of mine who is in a wheelchair with oxygen and from the time we entered the "full Parking lot" and were directed to the handicap parking of which there was a large number (yea!), through security and to the special section reserved for handicapped folks (which presented a fairly close great view of the Dalia Lama) we were escorted by very friendly folks every step of the way - one volunteer even brought cold water later through the program because he realized how difficult it was to move around." -- Suellen B., Volunteer for the April '07 Maui visit by His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama

"Hi Keith - It was such a joy and a blessing to be there. It was the most well organized event I’ve ever volunteered at. I honestly have nothing but praises." -- Jasmyne B., Volunteer for the April '07 Maui visit by His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama

"Dear Keith - Firstly I want to thank you. I was impressed with every contact I had with you. You are calm, kind, relaxed and very efficient. It was the most amazing volunteer experience because of you. Also, it was wonderful to have so many volunteers, so that it seemed easy and totally covered. The event left me speachless and totally greatful to His Holiness and everyone involved." -- Marion H., Volunteer for the April '07 Maui visit by His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama

Aloha Keith - Thank YOU for providing me with the most incredible, unimaginable volunteer opportunity ! I had a great time, as always, working with you, and appreciate your ability to keep things light and positive.[] Thanks again for including us in these great opportunities to experience and learn, and meet other members of our community! -- Vanessa G., Volunteer for the April '07 Maui visit by His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama

"Keith: You did a great job!  What a treasure the organizers have with you wielding the volunteers.  Jackie and I enjoyed it very much!  Your organizational skills are fabulous." -- Volunteers for the Jan. '07 HonuaOla Event
