Step 7: My Activities – Activity Signup

When you first register, you won’t see the full list of activities and events until your registration is approved by the site administrator. As soon as you are approved, you will be notified by email and can log in to your account by either going directly to MyVolunteerPage.com or ArtofVolunteering.com and selecting the event you’re interested in.

The first screen you see when you are logged in is the “activity signup” screen/tab. Through the My Activities – Activity Signup page you can sort activities (volunteer jobs) by date or name and refresh the list. You’ll also see a Legend that you can refer to at anytime while interacting with the scheduling system.

Once you have signed up for activities you can click the “schedule” tab and sort all your assigned activities by date and print them out for handy reference.

Note the MY PROFILE, MY ACTIVITIES, MY HOURS LOG & MY GROUPS tabs.

  • MY PROFILE allows you to edit contact info, additional info, qualifications, about me & goals.
  • MY ACTIVITIES shows you your scheduled activities.
  • MY HOURS LOG allows you to track historic volunteer hours and compare them to your goals.
  • MY GROUPS shows you which group you are affiliated with. In this case, you are a member of the ART OF VOLUNTEERING, LLC group. The MyVolunteerPage system we are using is designed to integrate with community volunteer centers through the country. Through this section of the website, you can contact organizations, volunteer centers and specific team you chose to be a member of.

There are six links at the top of the page:

  • Home provides you with contact information about your Group; Art of Volunteering, llc
  • About MVP provides you with general information about MyVolunteerPage.com goals.
  • My contacts gives you an easy way to email your Group administrator, Keith Ranney.
  • Feedback sends your ideas and user feedback to the MyVolunteerPage.com developers.
  • Help further clarifies the MY PROFILE, MY ACTIVITIES, MY HOURS LOG & MY GROUPS tabs.
  • Logout logs you out of the system so that no one can access your personal information.
